Listed here are a few movies that had just been released, some of them are going to be released before summer 2011. Macam best.. and I am SOOO looking forward to watching them. Enjoy!

1. THE BLACK SWAN

A psychological thriller, set in the world of New York City Ballet. Nina, the main character suffers from aneroxia, the movie takes us into her head. Movie ni dah keluar, I'm saving it for the holidays. yay!

2. THE OTHER WOMAN

I think the title speaks for itself.. Natalie Portman stars as Emilia, the other woman. Though it is not the typical home-wrecker story... Premieres March.

3. 127 Hours

An AWESOME movie about, well, about life. Watch the trailer and you'll know the amount of awesome I'm talking about. Starring James Franco and premieres in March.

4. JUST GO WITH IT

An Adam Sandler romantic comedy. Just watching the trailer made me laugh soooo hard. Really hard. hahaha. Starring Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston.

Dear blog ku ,

Stressssnya examm!! This is my least favorite time of the year! T.T This is the most stressful one yet, because practical exam bertubi2, (I have been having practical exams three days in a row, thank you very much!) on top of that, written exams nanti cuma ada small, tiny, microscopic gap between the subjects to study. Die lah like this!!!!! Sigh... everyday lepas practical exam my head would get dizzy, and then in spite of the dizziness kena study balik for tomorrow's practical exam pulak..tidur..and then waking up feeling anxious and nervous sebab nak kena sit for exam. sob..sob.. I know i shouldnt be merungut-ing... i'm not.. just trying to let it all out.. fuuhhhhhhhhhh. Ahhhhhhhhh.... *deep breaths* You dont mind lending an ear, do you bloggie? <--nama manja blog. heheh.

Pulak tu, masa exam ni lah all hormones and mood semua become tak betul. Ada macam bipolar siket. Mula2 tak ada perasaan, lepas tu tiba2 marah. Lepas tu tiba2 sedih. Lepas tu tiba2 fikir yang bukan2. Sindrom exam. ah. Cant wait for it to be over. I hope next semester's exam wont be as crazy and gila. Thank You. Sekian. Selamat ber-exam. Jangan nakal2. Study dengan bijak.

Wahai lelaki, apa yang anda inginkan pada seorang wanita untuk dijadikan isteri? Sudah pasti salah satu ciri-ciri yang didambakan ialah isteri yang cantik jelita, menawan, hot stuff. haha.. betul kan? Hehe.. kalau dapat yang cantik jelita macam si Bunga ni pun sodap jugak kan?

Aduhai. Kalau rezeki dapat bini cun melecun macam ni.. Senang hati. haha.. (suara hati seorang jejaka yang tidak diketahui identitinya)

Tetapi kan wahai lelaki, kecantikan luaran takkan bertahan lama. By the time umur mencecah 35 tahun, biasanya mulalah proses penuaaan manusia dan isteri yang cantik jelita dahulu mula tembam sikit(mungkin banyak), kedut-kedut mula muncul..sinar matanya mula pudar.

Kecantikan luaran tidak akan kekal selamanya. Walaubagaimanapun, memang tidak salah kalau dah jodoh dapat yang cantik menawan. Rejeki dong. Cuma, moral of the story is, sejak hari pertama kamu berdua menikah, kamu harus ingat dong, cantiknya itu enggak bisa tahan lama!

Mindset siap2, "Walaupun bini aku ni hotstuff tahap mengalahkan Angelina Jolie, satu hari nanti nenek si Angelina Jolie akan kelihatan lebih hot dari beliau" Janganlah anda expect isteri anda akan kekal menawan, takut nanti bila beliau sudah kepudaran rupa, cinta itu akan turut pudar bersamanya.

Pikir-pikirkan iya..

Bunga setelah melahirkan anak sulung beliau. Tahniah diucapkan. Semoga kehadiran anak ini akan memeriahkan lagi rumahtangga beliau dan suami.

Sempena tahun baru ini, saya nak share sesuatu pasal...GETTING ENERGIZED! Have you ever wondered why some days (most days!) you feel tired all day? Bangun dari tidur, penat. Dalam lecture hall, lagi penat. Penat, penat, penat! Bila penat, buat kerja semua tak kena. Haa.. hari ini saya bakal share a few tips untuk keep ourselves energized all day! (Fine2, aku tau la aku selalu ngantuk dalam lecture, tapi aku pun baru baca tips ni okey..lepas ni kasi lima lecture staightt pun aku tak tido..tengok la! <---azam tahun baru. LOL)

Tips Pertama:

Rehat yang cukup.

Haaa... Kalau dengar lecture Physiology hari tu pasal 'Sleep', Professor ada cakap bahawa kita perlu at least 6 hours of sleep, so that we can get enough of sejenis type of sleep called the 'REM' sleep. The type of sleep that your body actually needs to feel rested and energized! Jadi, the first thing to do to feel energized is to get enough sleep!

Tips Kedua:

Lay off the snooze button!

Mesti korang selalu buat ni kan? Bila alarm handpon kat sebelah berbunyi je, tekan 'snooze'. Kononnye nak tido 5 minit lagi, tapi.........ahaha.. mesti korang tau pengakhiran kisah ni. Ini sebenarnya tabiat yang buruk ya tuan-tuan dan puan-puan sekalian! Bila kita terbangun mendengar alarm pertama itu, maksudnya tidur kita sudah interupted, dan jika kita tidur semula, tidur tersebut adalah tidur yang 'tidak berkualiti' yang tidak membantu merehatkan otak, malah memenatkan!.

TheLOGICbehind: Budak yang belajar medik sekalian, kita sedia tahu bahawa REM sleep is the type of sleep that makes us feel rested and energized. This sleep occurs at the last stage of every sleep cycle, which lasts for about 60 minutes. Jadi, kita perlu tidur sekurang2nya 50 minit sebelum mendapat REM sleep. Berbalik kepada situasi kita, biasanya, lepas alarm berbunyi, kita mungkin dapat tidur lebih kurang setengah jam sahaja. Jadi adakah ini cukup untuk mencapai tahap REM sleep? Of course not. Jadi, just wake up at the sound of the first alarm.

Tips Ketiga:

Let the sunshine in!

Sebaik-baiknya, bila dah bangun, bukalah tingkap anda, let the sunshine in. That way, your body knows that its already day time, jadi ia akan bersedia untuk hari yang bakal dilalui. Dalam masa yang sama, otak anda seolah2 berkata, "oh, dah siang rupanya. ok, dah. Jangan tidur dah."

Tips Keempat:

Drink. Drink. Drink.

Banyakkan minum air. Yerp. Thats right. Why? Generallty speaking, many functions and reactions that occur in our body needs water. Jadi, kalau anda kurang minum air, badan anda kena bekerja dengan lebih keras lagi untuk cari sisa2 H2O dlm badan anda, dan ini akan menyebabkan anda berasa cepat penat. So, Drink up!

Tips kelima:

Get physical!

Lakukan senaman ringan di pagi hari. Yeah... buat stretching2 sikit, dan stretching yang terbaik adalah solat. Yang penting, bila solat tu jangan tergesa-gesa. Relax...tarik nafas dalam2. In every movement, feel your muscles stretching, your tendons tight.. feel the air filling your lungs...ahh.. try jangan tak try!

Tips Keenam:

Eat right.

Kalau hari-hari pergi makan McD, sila jangan hairan sekiranya anda tak energetic. Badan kita memerlukan pelbagai vitamins and minerals for optimum function. Contohnya, Iron (bukan seterika, tetapi sejenis galian) diperlukan untuk proper function of hemoglobin in our RBCs. Kalau kekurangan iron, anda boleh suffer from Anemia, yang akan menyebabkan anda selalu keletihan. Oleh itu, amalkan diet yang seimbang, rajin2lah makan buah buahan dan sayuran.

Hari ini adalah hari ulangtahun kelahiran rakan satu seksyen aku, Hamizah, a.k.a Mijah.

Muka beliau begini:

Hai mijah...(semua sila cakap haiii!)

Jadi, bersempena hari ulangtahun kelahirannya, kami satu section bercadang untuk buat sedikit jamuan di rumah aku hari ini.. Masak simple2 aje.. Aku dipertanggungjawabkan utk buat nasi tomato dengan air. Yang lain ada yang bawak pizza, egg tart, kek...

Seronok dapat makan2 bersama, dekat2kan yang jauh, erat2kan yang dekat (ahh...padahal hari2 jumpa kat kelas! haaha.) Seronok juga bila tengok mereka makan masakan kita. Bila tengok yang bertambah2 tu lagi senang hati. Alhamdulillah.. semua suka. Sedap kata meeka. (mereka yang kata, bukan aku. haha) Air teh ais limau pun mereka suka, sampai habis dikerjakan.

"Alahai comelnya diaorang ni.." kataku dalam hati. dalam HATI cukup. nanti perasan pulak. HAHA. Sebenarnya nasi tomato dan ice lemon tea yang aku buat tu simple aje. Simple sangat malah. Tak ada pun campur special ingedients, air perahan stokin ke ape..haha. takde. Cuma bila fikir balik, kenapa mereka suka sangat maknan dan minuman tersebut, mungkin sebab ianya dibuat dengan penuh kasih sayang. <3

Betul jugak rasanya, sebab bila tengah masak tu, memang asyik ingat mijahh je. Dan nama pun kawan, mestilah sayang. Walaupun tak pernah diungkapkan kata2 'sayang' tu secara serius, tetapi hati itu tahu bila ia menyayangi sesuatu. Rasanya sepanjang hidup aku tak pernah sekali pun aku ucapkan "aku sayang kat kau" kepada any of my friends. Sekadar gurau2 senda itu ada lah,. I lebiyu, You Leb me. tetapi ayat "aku sayang kat kau" itu sendiri memang tak pernah diungkapkan. Mungkin bukan sebahagian dari budaya kita, meluahkan perasaan dengan kata2. Aku akui, memang tak biasa meluahkan perasaan dengan kata2 kepada sesiapa. Malah mak dan ayah aku sendiri baru sekali mengungkapkan 'I love you' kepada aku, itu pun sebelum fly ke Egypt. Tapi aku rasa disayangi, walaupun mereka tak pernah ucapkan sebelum itu. Mungkin aku dah terbiasa dengan cara begitu. Kasih sayang di dalam hati diterjemahkan dalam bentuk masa yang diluangkan bersama, bercerita..anything but words.

Baiklah, sebagai penutup, terimalah resipi nasi tomato ala Hum dan Dedi nya

(resipi dari bapak)

Bahan2:

1. 1kg beras basmati

2. Butter

3. bawang merah dan putih yg sudah di kisar

4. Tomato puree

5. Garam dan gula

6. cengkih dan bunga lawang

Cara2:

1. masak nasi menggunakan beras basmati.

2. Setelah nasi masak biarkan sejuk

3. Masukkan butter ke dalam kuali, cairkan dengan api kecil.

4. Masukkan bawang (lebih kurang 2 sudu) dan cengkih serta bunga lawang.

5. Setelah bau naik, masukkan tomato puree(lebih kurang 3 sudu).

6. Masukkan nasi dan gaul hingga rata

7. Masukka garam secukup rasa.

Si Gigi Besi

............ (senyap seketika)... HELLO EVERYONE!! Sudah sangat lama blog ini dibiarkan berdebu. Tiup siket debu2 tuh. fuh3.. uhuk3. hehe. Ok dah. Hmm.. sejak lama dunia berblogging ni aku tinggalkan, banyaaakkkk sangat benda dah berlaku. For one thing, aku dah naik tahun tiga sekarang. yay! Aku pulak dah berumur 20 tahun..dan dah kembali semula ke Egypt...dan..dan...dan.. haha.. banyak. Oh ye, dan aku dah bukak braces! yay! Tak percaya? tengok ni:

Alhamdulillah...lega.. walaupun aku dah 2 tahun dgn berbesar hatinya menjadi duta braces neh, tapi bila bukak, girangnya hati ini tak terkata. hahaha.. Bersempena memperingati arwah braces aku, aku dedikasikan post ini untuk beliau. Kisah pengalaman pakai braces ni aku dedikasikan buat Nani yang bakal cabut gigi malam ni. hehe.., dan untuk mereka2 yang dilahrikan dengan a perfect set of teeth. Semoga korang dapat menghayati perjalanan kami2 yang tidak dilahirkan dengan gigi yang perfect ini... haha.

The Journey

Aku ingat lagi, masa mula2 sampai Alex ni, salah satu perkara yang menarik perhatian aku adalah bila senior kata braces sini murah... Aku pun memang sejak form 2 nak pakai braces, tapi hajat tak kesampaian. Check2 harga, memang murah sangat berbanding kat Malaysia. 5500LE sahaja which is equal to RM3000. Kalau kat klinik swasta di Malaysia, mungkin dalam RM 5000 jugak kena. Aku apalagi, dengan perasaan eksaited pegi call mak aku, pastu tanya nombor telefon Orthodontist kat senior. Nak kata punyalah eksaited aku, sebelum kelas start masa 1st year lagi aku dah start proses pakai braces tu.

The Early Visits

Masa mula2 jumpa orthodontist aku, Dr Amru, aku memang kagum dengan beliau, sebab pertama, gigi dia perfect. sebab kedua, dia seperti sangat2 passionate dengan kerjaya beliau sebagai orthodontist. hehe. Kali pertama aku visit dia, dia ambik impression gigi aku.Dalam bahasa yang lebih mudah difahaminya, dia ambik plastisin yang korang selalu main masa sekolah rendah tu, pastu letak kat gigi aku. Dengan impression itu nanti dia akan study gigi kau, dan plan macam mana dia nak luruskan gigi kau yang berlapis2 macam kek lapis itu.. Impression tu rupa dia macam ni:

Dan Aku Pun Pakai Braces..

Oleh sebab aku mengalami masalah 'overlapping', jadi Doktor Amru cabut gigi aku dua bijik.. Takut woo nak cabut gigi.. Sejak kecik aku tak pernah cabut gigi kat dentist. Semua gigi2 susu aku tercabut dengan sendirinya. Tapi reaksi spontan aku masa masuk jumpa Dr Amru masa tu, aku nampak eksaited. haha. aku cakap Hai kat dia.. eksaited semacam sampai Dr tu tanya, "Do you know what I am going to do to you tonight?" Aku jawab "Yes, you are going to pull out my tooth" Dr tu cakap lagi " Then why are you so happy??" hahaha... Masa dia nak anesthetize aku pejam mata. Tak sanggup nak tengok saiz jarum tu. Aku takut nanti aku lari keluar sebab ketakutan. (Sebab pernah berlaku masa form three, mase tu ade injection ape tah kat sekolah. haha)

Dua tiga hari lepas gigi dicabut, aku dipakaikan braces.. jadilah aku Hum si gigi besi. haha.. Jumpa Dentist tiap-tiap bulan..Mula2 pakai tu memang sakit. Sakit dia sampai tahap gigi aku tak boleh kena sudu pun. Dalam 2 minggu lebih aku makan sup, bubur, makanan baby dlm tin..haha..

Setelah Dua Tahun..

Lepas dua tahun, aku dah habis treatment dan braces aku pun dibukak..yay!! BUT.. aku kena continue pakai retainer. Rupa dia mcm ni..

Dan bila dipakai rupa macam ni...

Ratainer ni boleh dibuka, jadi setiap kali aku nak makan, aku akan bukak..haaa... dan lepas satu tempoh masa, (dlm 2 bulan lagi) aku hanya pakai masa tidur.. haaaa... itulah dia. kisah Hum dan Braces.

Sebagai penutup, aku nak ucapkan TAHNIAH kepada mereka2 yang dalam process nak pakai atau tengah pakai braces. Enjoy the journey! Sakit2 sekarang, hasilnya nanti memang berbaloi! You will feel more confident, dan dah tak malu dah senyum nampak gigi. dan lepas tu kau akan jadi sawan kamera. percayalah cakap aku ni. hahaha.

Hahaha... tak.. aku belum lagi jadi professor physio.. tp aku nak share satu video pasal Physiology of the Brain. Similar to the ones yang prof eksplen dalam lecture tu.. CUMA bezanya, ini dlm youtube. Which means, jika kau terTIDUR ke, terBERANGAN ke, kau boleh je tekan 'replay' and the Professor tu akan ulang2 balik lecture tu sampai kau puas. Dalam lecture hall bole ke buat gitu adik2? boleh ke? Haa..sebenarnya boleh je.. kalau berani. HAHAHA. lepas tu ada yang kena jelingan tajam budak sesama lecture sebab gara2 kau, lecture habis 1/2 jam lambat. bahaha.

Aku suka explanation professor dlm youtube ni. sebutan clear, sitematik, and when he talks die selitkan fakta2 menarik yang akan membuatkan kau berkata, "ooo...mcm tu rupenye. baru aku tahu."

Oh, and i would like to share some tips here:

Number one:

Curling/Perming your eyelashes. Dont do it. It hurts so @#!& much and the results are questionable.Why does it hurt?? For one thing, your eyelids are made of very thin, very sensitive skin, so the perming liquid tinggy that is used to perm your eyelashes could very easily irritate the skin. I buat semalam, and now my eyelids are still pedih2, especially bila kena air. Auch! :( Secondly, it smells. blergh!! So, my nasihat is, if you want your eyelashes to look more dramatic (for weddings, events, etc.) just use fake eyelashes. trust me, they look more natural than permed eyelashes.

Number two:

Facial treatment. DO them! Kalau boleh, once a month. Why ah?? Why?? Sebab, we live in an environment yg sangat kotor, dusty, berdebu, and kotor. So.. this invites kehadiran blackheads/jeragat/bintik2 hitam. This bintik2 hitam ini adalah hasil daripada debu2 yang melekat kat muka dan make up tahun 1998 yang kau tak bersihkan betul2! Kotoran2 ini akan duduk dalam your pores, become oxidised, and thus, jadi hitam. Bintik2 hitam ni tak best tau tak. SEBAB buruk dilihat ok. haha. dan satu lagi, bintik hitam ni, kalau dibiarkan lama2, dia akan berkumpul kat situ dan buat your pores jadi besar. Sebab tu la jadinya kulit yang nampak macam berlubang2 kecik itu... so, pegi buat facial sekarang!

Bagi anda diluar sana yang masih keliru untuk memilih eyeliner, you may find this entry useful. Hari ini kita akan membincangkan eyeliner one by one. chewah. baiklah, tanpa membuang masa, mari kita mulakan.

1. PENCIL EYELINER

Ini adalah my personal favourite pencil eyeliner, from The Body Shop. Jika anda baru nak berjinak-jinak memakai eyeliner, pencil eyeliner is the way to do it. It is super easy to use, asalkan anda pandai menulis, there should not be any problem to handle this little tool. However, pencil eyeliner has its own cons, which includes cepat sgt melt. Kejp2 je dah hilang. Bila hilang bukannya hilang dengan senyap. Oh no no no, bila dia melt, dia akan meninggalkan kesan smudge pada mata yang akan membuatkan orang ingat kau Panda dr negara China. Sebenarnya faktor ini lah yang membuat aku berhijrah kepada.....

2. LIQUID EYELINER

This is my favourite kind of eyeliner. Oleh kerana it is high precision, maka setiap kali pakai yang ini, ramailah yang akan bertanya, "eh mcm mana kau buat line kat atas mata tu jd tajam2?" hehe..inilah rahsianya.My feveret eyeliner ever, ARTDECO high precision liquid eyeliner. Easy grip, soft tip. Sangat best! Cuma, kalau mula2 pakai tu kena training dulu lah ye, Sebab dia tak semudah pencil eyeliner tadi, tapi yang baiknya, dia tak smudge atau cair. Sgt mendengar kata eyeliner ini. *LOVE*

3. GEL EYELINER

Ini juga salah satu alternative utk yang baru hendak mencuba memakai eyeliner. This is what we call gel eyeliner. My favourite gel eyeliner is from Kanebo Kate. It can be applied very easily, very rookie friendly. It comes with a soft brush for easy application. Although very good, this eyeliner does not stay on as long as the liquid one and the effect is not as fine.

Hi, Saye HUM. Sejak balik Malaysia ni, saya seperti dah mengabaikan blog saya. (pengakuan jujur) Ini adalah kerana kat Malaysia hidup saya dipenuhi dengan aktiviti2 dan penuh riang ria sehinggakan lupa tentang blog ini. wahaha.

Dah nak dekat seminggu jugak sebenarnya sampai kat Malaysia. And this is the first time my flight ada transit lama. 5 jam at Kuwait. And lagi interesting, transit 5 jam tu jadi transit 1 hari 2 malam. hahaha

muka2 tensi bila dapat tahu flight open delay.

Nama saya Hum, saya berasal dari Bintulu, Sarawak. Oleh itu, I'm going to bring you to my hometown.. sambil kita belajar georraphy ok.

Ini peta negeri sarawak. saya berasal daripada Bintulu, iaitu tempat yang berkaler hijau gelap itu. Perjalanan dr Bintulu ke KLIA (yes, using an airplane.) is about 2 hours and 30 minutes.Kalau naik sampan mungkin 2 tahun 30 hari. And you're probably dead. haha.

Obsesi Diri

Satu benda yang manjadi obsesi aku sejak hari pertama aku ternampak lipstik adalah fashion dan kecantikan. Waaa.. Obses! Obses!

Tapi, aku rasa perempuan mana yang tak nak cantik? Semua orang nak cantik. Orang lelaki pun tak terkecuali. Sekarang ni, trend dikalangan budak laki kat Egypt ni adalah pergi gym. Konon nak badan tuff kan.. barulah hot jadi idaman gadis-gadis. wahaha.

So, berbalik kepada aku punya cerita tentang kecantikan dan fesyen, selama aku hidup, memang aku fanatik dengan benda-benda ni. Tapi sejak 2-3-4 hari ini, aku rasa aku tengah dalam satu fasa fanatik GIL BAB. Aku siap kumpul gambar stail-stail yang aku suka. Aku share satu look ni:

Ngehehe. Cun bukan? Ade yang lagi cun, tapi aku simpan sebagai surprise..nanti next semester aku pakai. hihihi. Dunia fesyen ni memang seronok bagi aku. Baju, kasut, make up..pehh..semua benda yang boleh menceriakan hidup aku. Basically, aku sangat suka tengok benda cantik. Oleh sebab itu, aku pun cuba sedaya-upaya untuk appear cantik supaya nanti bila tengok cermin tak rasa menyampah dgn diri sendiri. bahaha. Kadang2 aku pegi blog walking, pergi tengok blog perempuan2 cun yang suka letak gmabar2 cun diaorg di blog. best gila hobi ni! tak caye, boleh try... selain daripada cuci mata, boleh jugak observe style dia. Yang cun kita tiru, yang tak cun kita gelakkan. wakaka. jahat. tapi takpa, aku gelak sorang2.

Korang pulak macam mana? Suka tengok 'keindahan' ciptaan tuhan? Nasib baik aku perempuan..boleh la usya awek hot sesuka hati. Kalau aku ni laki kan dah naya.ish3..

Bismillahi walhamdulillahi 'alaa rasulillah,

Once upon a time there was a painter who had just completed his course under disciple hood of a great painter. This young artist decided to assess his skills of skills so he decided to give his best strokes on the canvass. He took 3 days and painted beautiful scenery.

Suddenly an idea flashed in his mind and he decided to display it on a busy street-square of that small town he was resident of. He wanted people’s opinion about his calibre and painting skills.

He put his creation at a busy street-crossing. And just down below a board which read-”Gentlemen, I have painted this piece. Since I’m new to this profession I might have committed some mistakes in my strokes etc. Please put a cross wherever you see a mistake.”

While he came back in the evening to collect his painting he was completely shattered to see that whole canvass was filled with Xs (crosses) and some people had even written their comments on the painting.

Disheartened and broken completely he ran to his master’s place and burst into tears. Sobbing and crying inconsolably he told his master about what happened and showed the pathetic state of his creation which was filled with marks everywhere. Such was the state that colours were not visible, only things one could see were crosses and correction remarks.

This young artist was breathing heavily and master heard him saying ”I’m useless and if this is what I have learnt to paint I’m not worth becoming a painter. People have rejected me completely. I feel like dying”

Master smiled and suggested “My Son, I will prove that you are a great artist and have learnt a flawless painting.” Young disciple couldn’t believe it and said “I have lost faith in me and I don’t think I am good enough. Don’t make false hopes..

“Do as I say without questioning it. It WILL work.” Master interrupted him. ”Just paint exactly similar painting once again for me and give it to me. Will you do that for your master?” Master instructed.

Young artist reluctantly agreed and two days later early morning he presented a replica of his earlier painting to his master. Master took that gracefully and smiled. ”Come with me.” master said.

They reached the same street-square early morning and displayed the same painting exactly at the same place. Now master took out another board which read -”Gentlemen, I have painted this piece. Since I’m new to this profession I might have committed some mistakes in my strokes etc. I have put a box with colours and brushes just below. Please do a favour. If you see a mistake, kindly pick up the brush and correct it.” Master and disciple walked back home.

They both visited the place same evening. Young painter was surprised to see that actually there was not a single correction done so far. But master wasn’t satisfied as yet and he told his disciple “May be one day was too little a time for people to come up with ideas and take out time out of their busy schedules to correct it so let us keep it here for one more day. Tomorrow is Sunday, so we can expect some corrections coming in.”

Next day again they visited and found painting remained untouched. They say the painting was kept there for a month for no correction came in!

It is easier to criticize, but difficult to improve.

If you want to help people improve their behaviour it is worth investing your effort in learning how to help people change their behaviors, attitudes and skills. Also, always remember not to get carried away or judge yourself by someone else’s criticism and feel depressed as you are the best judge to judge yourself. Take Criticism in your stride, consider those which are genuine and implement those which you think is the best to improve you as a person!!

Ciri-ciri teksi driver penipu

Aku rasa kat seluruh Alex ni, tak ada sesiapa yang lebih ANTI ngan teksi driver selain aku. Memang dahsyat la perasaan aku terhadap diorang ni, oleh itu tak perlu la aku describe lagi, takut nanti blood pressure naik lagi. Oleh sebab aku dah terlalu masak dengan perangai teksi drebar mesir, aku ada buat kajian tentang diaorang ni.

Walaupun aku selalu kutuk2 teksi drebar ni, aku tak nafikan ada yang baik. Ada yang tak menipu. Yes, i know, hard to believe, but there is still good in this screwed up world. Jadi, bagaimana kita nak identify drebar teksi yang baik? ada jawapannya! Kat bawah ni aku letak beberapa ciri-ciri seorang teksi drebar berhemah hasil kajian aku sekian lama keatas diorang. saksikan...

1. MUSLIM

Bukan orang Islam yang sebarangan...yang asli punya... tp honestly, lebih 80% teksi drebar Islam kat mesir ni mcm haprak. Tak boleh caya lansung. Lagi-lagi yang bila kau bagi salam dia jawab semangat gila. Yang tu hipokrit Gred A la wa cakap. Bukan main lagi tanya kau ni Islam ke..pastu bukan ayat Quran la.. tu semua topeng diorang. Salah satu 'alat bantuan menipu' diaorang. Aku pernah jumpa teksi drebar yang dr segi gaya dia...fuh.. jwb salam semangat, bukak ayat Quran besar, seliap kali pusing stering baca selawat, tapi last2 tipu jugak. Jadi, macam mana cara yang fool-proof to identify kalau teksi drebar tu Islam sejati? Firstly, kau tengok janggut dia. Kalau Janggut dia jenis yang mcm jambang sampai telinga tu, InsyaAllah boleh caya. Secondly, dia tak friendly lebih2. Senyap je. Yelah, if you have nothing good to say, its better to shut up lah kan?Aku pun malas nak layan diaorang ni. Kalau kita ckp pun bukan paham. Buang karen aku je. Thirdly, kalau korang ni pompuan, tengok cermin atas. Kalau dia selalu curi pandang, jaga-jaga. Ada potensi menipu yang sangat besar.

2. KRISTIAN

Sorry to say, kat sini kristian sejati lagi banyak dari Islam sejati. oleh sebab setiap agama emphasize nilai-nilai moral seperti BERLAKU JUJUR, jadi orang-orang kristian dia boleh percaya lagi dari yang Islam tak asli. Terus terang aku cakap la, bila aku naik teksi, and dapat tau orang tu Islam tapi tak ada ciri-ciri Islam sejati tu, aku terus get myself mentally ready untuk bergaduh. Kat sini 'orang' Islam banyak, tapi ISLAM itu sendiri jarang-jarang aku jumpa.

3. PREFER YOUNG OVER OLD

Teksi drebar muda is generally better than tua. This is applicable to about 60% of cases. Aku tak tau kenapa yang tua ni lagi kuat menipu. Yang kerepot dah nak mati tu la penipu paling besar. Bawak la 5 genih haram tu masuk kubur! Mungkin sebab makin lama duduk mesir perangai makin setan kot. (salah satu sebab kenapa perlu balik malaysia selalu. takut kesetanan diorang ni meresap kat kita).

KONKLUSINYA:

1. aku harap kerajaan mesir buat satu akademi untuk ajar PENDIDIKAN MORAL kat teksi drebar mesir nih.

2. Aku tengah bengang ngan teksi driver aku tadi.Kurang asam punya teksi drebar tua!

3. Aku nak balik Malaysiaaaaa wawaawa. aku tak tahan dah dengan TEKSI dan KETIADAAN MORAL mereka.

Ini adalah untuk semua pelajar-pelajar perubatan di bumi Iskandariah, amnya,

kepada pelajar-pelajar tahun dua khususnya

dan pelajar-pelajar secion satu especially.

Ada pelajar yang approach saya, kerana ingin menangguhkan kelas practical yang bakal berlansung pada hari khamis minggu depan dengan alasan midterm exam akan diadakan pada hari yang sama (tengahhari) dan mereka ingin menggunakan masa pagi itu untuk ulangkaji. Pada dasarnya, saya faham keinginan beliau kerana, lihat saja bilangan pelajar yang hadir untuk kelas practical pharmacology pagi semalam (sebelum exam juga), Sangat mengecewakan. Saya kira langkah mengubah hari praktikal sebelum exam boleh mengurangkan jenayah ponteng ini. Tanpa berfikir panjang, saya meanggunakan teknologi Yahoo! Messenger untuk bertanya pendapat rakan-rakan section satu mengenai rasional mengubahan waktu kelas ini.

Rata-rata semua bersetuju ingin mengubah waktu kelas. Langkah seterusnya, call prof Amani. Aku sudah berkira untuk menghubungi prof tersebut esok pagi, kerana hari ini adalah hari cuti. Tiba-tiba keluar sebuah tetingkap Yahoo! meesenger pada screen laptop. Ada IM drpd bos. IM drpd bos inlah yang mengubah keputusan saya. Wahai warga section satu sekalian, TIADA PERUBAHAN KELAS AKAN BERLAKU HARI KHAMIS INI. TIADA KELAS YANG AKAN DIUBAH UNTUK MEMBERI LALUAN KEPADA EXAM SEMATA-MATA. Noktah. Hal ini kerana apa-apa perubahan pada kelas kita membawa implikasi yang sangat besar kepada pihak admin. (Carik prof, tempat, dan sebagainya). Tak nak la menyusahkan mereka, dahlah kita yang mintak tukar waktu exam. Think of kesusashan mereka jugak dan ingat, kita tak semestinya dapat apa yang kita kehendaki. That is just life. Deal with it. Satu lagi aku nak membebel kaat sini (sori, aku dah hilang mood), kalau dah tahu nak exam, study la siap2. takkan pagi tu baru nak study kot? ade yang kena sepak ni karang. Kita belajar to gain skills nak jadi doktor kan? Bukan sebab exam! Takkan gara-gara nak exam tengahhari tu, you pegi miss out on all the classes pagi tu. Come on la. Last-last nanti, kau kerja kat hospital selayang tu, ade orang pandang kau sebab mid term kau terer? TAK DE. Tak de orang peduli kau mid term seratus ke, seribu ke. Orang tengok kau pandai jahit suture ke tak. Orang tengok kau pandai layan patient ke tak. Orang tengok skill kau braderr.. sorang pun tak amik tau mid term kau berape. Dan there is a chance that you'll miss out on learning all these useful skills sebab pagi tu kau tak datang kelas sebab nak exam. doi! Satu lagi tak berkat. tengah hari nak amik exam, pagi2 tu ponteng. Ape cerita?? Tolong sikit ok bakal doktor sekalian. anjakan paradigma diperlukan.

Last sekali, meh bace blog ni. Aku cukup admire kat penulis blog ni. Ini yang kita nak!

I noticed a few blogs dalam kalangan belog-belog yg dalam list tu yg cakap pasal tudung. Kenapa ye? Oh well.. I guess its just the hot topic sekarang ini (for God knows what reason). Mostly cakap pasal the moral value stuff related to tudung. But I am not going to talk about that. Lets look at tudung from another point of view...THE FASHION POINT OF VEIW!

Haha.. Sungguh interesting ini! Because I loveeeee experimenting with style! Lagi-lagi style tudung! Eventhough that means memalukan diri sendiri dengan style yg pelik-pelik kekadang. Macam-macam remarks I pernah terima...tapi takpa! In the name of fashion!

Now I am dying to go back to Malaysia and go tudung shopping at SRI MUNAWWARAH. I recently pergi the Munawwarah blog and discover that the tudung styles there dah semakin banyak and semakin lawa with the touch of elegance still in tact. (Mommy if you are reading this please understand penderitaan anakmu yang ketandusan outfit ini dan bawaklah dia shopping baju +tudung summer nanti :) )

I love the design of this selendang! and the style she's wearing is nice as well. HOWEVER, I'm sorry to say, baju dia buruk (wow! jujurnya!). and.. the style yg dia pakai ni is not suitable for all types of selendang.Kalau kain yg lembut, sure susah nak pakai dgn style ni..

From my point of veiw, our Tudung fashion industry is still in its infancy. Belum banyak style sangat, but is growing. What we tudung-wearing girls need is more role models that can wear tudung WITH style. Recently I find myself being angry a lot. Every single day to be honest. Its like life is trying to pick a bone with me. To be honest, when i clicked on the 'NEW POST' button a few seconds ago, my intention was to write about and curse the 'thing' that is causing my perasaan marah yang teramat sangat hari ini. I swear I have never been angrier in my life! Tapi... bila fikir balik, kalau aku condemn makhluk2 yang menyebabkan aku marah gila (marah dan gila olso can) kat blog ini, komfem lepas beberapa jam ada laa dikalangan makhluk2 anonymous yang akan komen post tersebut dan buat aku lagi marah. dan gila. oleh itu, to save myself from such kemarahan, i will instead write about anger. Anger management. Sebab aku tahu dalam hidup ini, (terutamanya hidup di bumi mesir dikalangan orang-orang mesir yang hampeh dan juga orang bukan mesir yang equally hampeh) kita akan sentiasa diuji dengan perasaan marah dan tidak puas hati. And it is indeed very easy to fall into the trap of anger which is skillfully crafted by satan himself.

There is a story about anger that I want to share here. Once upon a time, a man in a faraway land was chosen by the Lord to experience a miracle. The Lord told the man, through a dream, to eat the first thing that he saw when he opens his front door after waking up. When he finally woke up, he did what he was told. He opened his wooden front door and, to his surprise, he saw a mountain. Terkejut la member ni... ingatkan Allah nak bagi die burger mokmen ke sebijik. Sekali tengok gunung. Being a man yang tak banyak tanya, he went towards the mountain, though he cannot imagine how to even start eating it. Selamat bercuti semua! I'm sure semua orang sedang berhoneymoon di destinasi pelancongan masing-masing. Dengarnya ramai yang pergi bercuti ke London, Paris, dan Malaysia.dengarnya majority balik Malaysia. hmm..no komen pasal ni. nanti org cakap aku jeles pulak. HAHA. Whatever it is, and wherever you are, I hope all of you are having a great holiday.

Anyways, they say you can learn lots of things from travelling. I certainly figured a thing or two from my travels. By the way, I'm in Oman now. Yup, Oman. The country with the third highest currency value after Qatar and Bahrain. The country with population of only about 2 million people including outsiders. This country is also ruled by a King, King Qabbus, who is by the way, still not married, but korang kena berhenti berangan sekarang kerana Omanis tak boleh kahwin dengan orang luar. I've been here for only one day and one night or so and what I enjoy most here is

1. The peace and quiet. I havent had this in a very long time. Mesir sungguhh bising!

2. The people are OhMyGod HOT2 belaka. Drebar bas pun hot tAU! Jangan memain!

3. Taxi die..fulamak... cantik canggih lagitu. In comparison to taxi kat Egypt..fuh... perumpamaan die bagai tin sardin yang buruk, berkarat, (NI TEKSI EGYPT) dengan botol perfume chanel yang bertatah emas(NI Teksi Oman). Bunyi mcm exxegeration dan agak menghina lah pulak. Tapi sungguh aku tak tipu. I'll take some pictures esok.

4. The money. Okay, when I was small, I always wished that everything would only cost 1 ringgit je so that I could buy everything( simptom2 bakal shopaholic. kecik2 dah shopping). Today, that dream came true. when I went to the town market, i was super duper sakai sebab most things are 1 riyal or less. I bought a selendang for 1 riyal today. 1 riyal only!

Where I'm staying now is Mirkat al Mouz, a small town about one hour away from Muscat. The people in the village are still a bit urm conservative I should say, in a way that they are not used to seing women walk around in pants or women walking around in a group of less than four. Since I only brought pants....I had to wear this to walk around the village

We hear the STPM results are going to be announced soon. Good luck to all STPM lepasans out there! I hear a lot of 'plans' that you STPM kids plan to do after the results are announced. Some wants to go and further their studies to become a teacher, some aim higher-- biotech, rocket science, and last but NOT LEAST , to become a doctor.

So, kids, are you sure about this? Are you sure you want to become a doctor? I'M ASKING YOU AGAIN, ARE YOU ABSOLUTELY SURE? Are you sure you want to study for six very, very long years JUST to become a doctor? To graduate and start your job when others are already climbing their carrier ladders? To live a life where exams haunt you all the time...every freakin second is spent with your medical books that you sometimes forget how it feels to read a book that does not include the words 'complication' or 'GIT disturbance' or Staphylococus aureus. To live a life where your jokes revolves around the things that you learn---"your head is big because you have extra layers of blood brain barrier". LAME. I know. But its hard to run from it. Once you are in, you are in. there's no turning back. So, ARE YOU SURE ABOUT THIS?

We are not living in a fairytale here people. Being a doctor is not just about the title, or the white robe. The main purpose of a doctor's existence is to help sick people. You are gonna go through all those crap i just mentioned before so that you could help people. Indeed it sounds noble but helping people is not an easy task. Heck, things are never easy when it involves dealing with people. Some of them wont even like you irregardless of the fact that you are trying to help them. Its a cold,cold world out there. So, are you still sure about this? All I'm trying to say here is,

When you are making choices that are going to change your life big time, please think it over thoroughly. Think it over. A LOT. And if you are thinking, "Oh, I wanna be a doctor so i'll be rich" then forget it. Being a doctor means you have to have passion. And lots of 'em too. If you are so into money, then take something that involves money. Bussines, accounting, whatever. You have to love what you do. Waking up in the morning feeling excited about work instead of the typical "ohh..Monday morning. I wish its sunday again". Geddit?? Passion, people, PASSION. You dont have it, then dont do it. If you are going to waste your time, waste your life, doing something you dont even like, you might as well be dead. You're miserable, people hate you because you are always miserable, you are not good at what you do, your boss hates you. Iyup. I see a living corpse over here people.

If you are already stuck in this kind of situation, (where you hate your job and thus, hate yourself, and, thus, miserable) get out of that chair and find you passion! In this life there are always choices, roads for you to take. Its not always a bad thing for you to take the road less traveled.

So you think these guys had it rough? Try being a real doctor.

Nama saya Hum. Nama betul saya Humaira. Saya mula dikenali sebagai Hum sejak form 4. Ketika itu Hum selekeh yang tembam berkawan rapat dengan Hanisa, dan Hasreena. 3 H. Kami juga rapat dengan seorang Raziz. Raziz yang sungguh malas memanggil kami dengan nama penuh. iyelaa.. PANJANG KOT nama HUMAIRA. Panjang sangat. Sebut Humaira tu bisa buat air liur kering, hilang suara terus!. Untuk overcome masalah nama panjang ini, Raziz yang kreatif ini pun buat sedikit alteration kepada nama kami. Hasilnya:

Pada mulanya, sungguh bengang kat Raziz kerana mengubah nama saya yang cun, yang mengambil masa seminggu untuk bapa pilih, berubah menjadi HUM. Hilang makna, hilang ayu, hilang comel, hilang hilang hilang lah semuanya.

2. Saya mempunyai ibubapa yang prihatin terhadap anaknya yang selalu pokai dan kirim duit (LOL DUIT LAGI!! Perempuan ini nampaknya mata duitan. Para laki-laki sila berjaga-jaga. hahaha)

3. Saya sihat dan tidak sakit. Lebih-lebih lagi apabila Hospital Salamah sudah menaikkan medical fees mereka (ARAB TAMAK!! 70 GENIH TO DIAGNOSE A FLU? TOLONG LAHHHH BAIK AKU SUROH BUDAK 4TH YR JE DIAGNOSE. FREE AND INSYAALLAH RELIABLE.HEHE)

1. Untuk menambahkan study hours dan mengurangkan makan, mandi, bersosial hours. (Goodbye Chandler Bing. huhuhu..)

2. Lebih bersabar dengan arab egyptians. Otherwise nanti balik Malaysia muka nampak semain tua sebab selalu marah-marah dan membebel.

3. Lebih rajin bangun awal pagi dan tidak tidur balik selepas itu. Setiap kali nak exam, akan ada satu sindrom.... clinical picture sindrom ini seperti:

1. Bawah mata lebam sebab stadi sampai 6pagi lepas tu tarus pergi kuliah pukul 8 pagi. Kebal.

2. Asyik bertanya "hari ni berapa haribulan" lepas tu menjerit "ALAMAK EXAM LAGI 3 HARI DOWW"

3. YM yang selalunya ON tiba-tiba menjadi BUSY mode atau terus invi. .. bahaha.

4. Library penuh. Selalu muka-muka kaki library sahaja kelihatan kat llibrary. Tapi bilangan pelajar kat library ni akan meningkat secara mendadak secara tiba-tiba.. ini memang sah-sah petanda exam dah dekat ataupun kat rumah takda letrik. bahaha

5. Perbualan dikalangan pelajar-pelajar bertukar daripada BOLA kepada SEROUS PERICARDIUM

6. Status YM dan Fesbuk berunsur keluh-kesah sebab tak sempat nak stadi semua. Contoh ayat koman: SO MUCH TO READ, SO LITTLE TIME. ataupun, status akan mengandungi unsur-unsur akademik AKU TACHYCARDIA, AKU ALGIA, HIDUNG AKU EPISTAXIS, AKU MENORHAGIA, dan sebagainya.

OK cukup setakat ini Problem Based Learning kita untuk kali ini. Any questions regarding the clinical picture? Yes? What is your number? bahaha. Dah dah.. Konklusinya, apa-apa pun yang korang nak buat, buat status ke, camping kat library ke, buat lah apa-apa pun. YANG PENTING usaha. Dah sedar exam dah dekat tu stadi lah kak oii! Jangan sebab last minute, rasa tak cukup masa, terus down nak study. Study apa yang termampu. Jangan tak study terus! HUM! YES, I AM TALKING TO YOU, YOU LAZY ASS! GO STADI AND STADI UNTIL YOU FEEL LIKE NAK GIGIT BUKU AND MUNTAHKAN BALIK SEBAB YOU REALIZED THE PART YANG YOU GIGIT TU TAK BACA LAGI BAHAHA. =P

Every girl has their own idea of what she wants. But basically, everyone would agree that there are certain characteristics that are considered as a MUST HAVE. alias WAJIB! Cekkiddaut...

1. BERILMU: Mesti ada certain kemahiran. Kalau tak pandai belajar pun, mesti ada sesuatu yang dia pandai buat. Yela bang, kalau satu hapak pun tak pandai, anak bini nak makan apa...

2. KEPIMPINAN: Girls like guys that can lead. That certainly explains why the head prefects are the most popular guys in school and why ketua PCI dah kawin..hikhkhik. Nak jadi ketua keluarga kot.. mesti la pandai memimpin.

3. AGAMA: Ada pegangan agama. Ni saham masa depan. Penting ni..kena pandai buat pelaburan yang betul!

4. SEDAP MATA MEMANDANG: Not everyone wants a really hot-that-is-to-die-for guy. As long as she thinks the guy is good looking, thats enough. No one else has to think so. A very good example is like Heidi Klum and Seal. Dont know what she sees in him, but, hey, she thinks he's hot. Thats enough to build a happy marriage. :)

5.MEMAHAMI. Someone that speaks your language. In Egypt, that LITERALLY means someone that can speak your language, not Arabic! PAK ARAB IS OUT OF DA LIST PEOPLE!

6. SETIA. Please guys. Dah sorang tu dah lah. Oh, saya tidak mengharamkan poligami, cuma..kalau nak kawin lagi sorang,... GIVE ME THE HOUSE AND CAR AND ALL OUR JOINED ASSETS. (fuh..garang gila bini ni.. -.-" ) Boleh nak poligami..tapi..most girls tidak suka diduakan..we share shoes, bags, clothes,..all of our lives we have been sharing. but we cant bear to share this one thing... something to think about yeah guys.

So we are done with the compulsory stuffs. Now, lets shift to the fun part: THE BONUS ROUND. yeah.. All the characteristics that we are going to talk about after this is not something girls really want in a guy, but hey, if a guy has these characteristics, then ,why not? rezeki masing-masing lah kan? haha.. A girl can dream, cant she..??

1. GOT THE BLING. Ber-uwang. hehe...your wife might want a Chanel bag once in a while!

2. ADA IRAS-IRAS TOM CRUISE.Perempuan sekalian, berhenti berangan sekarang! Ini memang takkan dapat. bahaha.

3.SPEAKS FLUENT ENGLISH. Ini memang bonus ++ kalau ada. Kalau boleh recite poetry lagi...fuh3. terhebat tuh! ngahaha.

4. MUSICAL TALENTS: Boleh main at least one instrument. Apparently, guys that can play instruments are very attractive in our eyes. bahaha.

5. DRESSES WELL. Let me define dresses well:

a. Doesnt wear the same outfit over and over (and over) again. Please dont be so kedekut. Your baju is an investment guys! Naikkan saham anda!

b. Tak berbau. Girls are gnerally wangi like bunga, dan bunga tak suka kumbang yang ada bau ya! Oleh itu kumbang-kumbang sekalian, PEGI BELI DEODARANT SEKARANG. I would recommend Sebamed Deodorant, but since it is not available in Egypt, I recommend Dr. Mist. It is made in Malaysia, and it works very well. SOKONGLAH BARANGAN BUATAN MALAYSIA! :)

c. Pandai bergaya. dan gaya mesti kena dengan orangnya! Keep your hair trimmed neatly and tidily. PLEASE.

6. NICE TEETH. When he smiles... it brightens up a cloudy day. Gunalah ubat gigi Darlie. and also, gunalah Braces. tehee :)

7. PANDAI BERKATA-KATA biasanya mulut manis ni dikaitkan dengan lelaki 'buaya'. tapi sekarang zaman dah moden ya. the ability to talk is an advantage. Who doest like to showered with praises and witty conversations, right?

I think thats it for now. Apa-apa pun DONT TAKE THIS TOO SERIOUSLY. Chill ok? Kalau dah namanya suka, tak kira dah bulu hidung panjang ke ape, nothing is going to change what you feel. Boleh jadi tak ada lansung ciri-ciri kat atas ni. Tapi dah suka..what more can I say? All we can do is live life, and try to improve ourselves sikit-sikit, everyday. Lastly, I would like to say: IKHTIAR ITU PENTING. bahaha. Sekian.

TAKING CARE OF YOUR SKIN IN WINTER

Winter is here people! The first snow hasn't actually fall..but if you are going to wait till the first snowflake before declaring winter is actually here...that's not gonna happen lah. Kalau asap keluar dari mulut pun dah terjerit-jerit kejakunan..apatah lagi ada snow! tergolek-golek kat lantai kerana jakun yang amat sangat. (oh! aku faham kenapa arab panggil kita honga-pongga! lol)

When winter comes, its so normal to hear people complaining about skin problems that its almost NOT normal if you dont have one. Here I have a few tips on how to take care of your skin during winter. Saya sedia maklum kulit saya tidak perfect seperti Cindy Crawford atau Leighton Meestor (huhu). Oleh itu, jika tips dibawah buat muka anda menjadi...ehem..tak berapa nak mulus, sila jangan bawa saya ke mahkamah.

MY SKIN IS DRYING UP! HELP!!!!

Biasanya masa winter, kulit akan menjadi sangat, sangat, sangat, (sangat, sangat) kering. Jadi, untuk mengelakkan kekeringan semasa winter, all you have to do is, tr to retain the moisture in your skin. Here's how you can help your skin to retain the moisture:

1. Cleanse. But not too much! Normally, we would wash our face twice a day--morning and evening. Washing it too often will strip off the moisture and leave your skin dry.

For dry skin, try to wash your face with cleanser only once a day, that is, during the evening. Use mild cleansers (usually milk cleansers) because it helps moisturize the skin at the same time and doesnt stip off as much moisture as normal cleansers.

For oily and combination skin, winter is when you skin will get really screwed up! Blemishes and dryness COMBINED! You have to be really sensitive about the changes that your skin goes through during winter. Chances are your skin might switch from oily to dry at this time of the year. If it feels really dry, its a good idea to switch to milk cleanser. However, if it still feels oily with a few dry patches, stick to normal cleansers. You dont want to risk your skin having a breakout do you?

This is a facial cleanser, also can be used as a toner. I recommend it for oily and combination skin. It helps regulate your sebum production, so that you skin will not be too dry nor too oily. 3. DRINK UP. I dont have to elaborate on this do i? Bunyi mcm cikgu EST pulak kang...

4. VASELINE. This is an important weapon. BUT NOT FOR THE FACE. I repeat.

NOT FOR THE FACE. but a must for your drying elbow, heels, and lips. Speaking about lips, do not LICK YOUR DRYING LIPS. Never ever lick you lips.Your lips has protective membrane that will be dissolved by the enzymes of your saliva.

5. EVENING PRIMROSE OIL. You can find this in capsule form in most pharmacies. It can really help balance up the oil in your body.

Okay2, I janji lepas rumah dapat internet I akan update blog ini dengan kadar yang lagi kerap.

Banyak sebab...

Berblog atau blogging ini baik untuk perkembangan mental dan jiwa tau. Satu kajian yang dijalankan telah membuktikan bahawa orang yang rajin berblog ni lebih bahagia dan jangka hayatnya lebih panjang. Ok, tipu. Generally, orang yang berblog didapati lebih happy dan content with their lives. Sebabnya, bila berblog, anda sedang mengekspresi diri anda ...bukan sekadar meluahkan perasaan. Bila anda takda perasaan yang terpendam dah... TADAAA.. anda akan jadi lebih happy, sebab takda emotional burden dalam hati anda.

Here's a few kelebihan berblog that i would like to share with you:

1. EKSPRESI DIRI. duh. Ini agak obvious kot. sebuah blog itu will reveal someone's true colour. when u read someone's blog, then u'll get a hint of his/her personality. real world tipu. semua orang nampak baik, bagi salam. senyum. LEPAS TU BILA AKU NAK KELUAR DARI TEKSI DIA CHARGE AKU 20 GENIH. hampeh. ehem. sori. emo sebentar dengan teksi driver. So, lepas ni aku kena rajin la baca blog teksi2 driver ni.

2. BERKONGSI KEBAHAGIAAN. Reading someone's blog yang penuh dengan keceriaan boleh brighten up your day. (lagi-lagi kalau post banyak gambar.sukaaa!) Bila post anda buat orang happy, anda pun akan happy. YAY! Semua orang akan happy dan kita akan hidup seperti dalam Playhouse Disney lepas ni, where everyone is happy dan takda jerawat. lol

3. IDEA berkongsi idea. Yelah, where else lagi nak carik medium berkongsi idea2 bernas anda kalau bukan dalam blog kan? Takkan tiba-tiba nak naik lecture hall kasik pengunguman "KORANG! AKU RASA AKU TAU DIET YANG PALING BAGUS UNTUK MUSIM SEJUK NI" err.... -.-"

4. KEMBANGKAN KREATIVITI. Anda medic student? JikaYA, THE CREATIVE SIDE OF YOUR BRAIN PERLU DIASAH. Our books yang cakap pasal homeostasis tu takkan membantu perkembangan otak kanan anda (kreative side). Berblog adalah salah satu cara untuk anda mengembangkan bakat dan kreativiti anda. Kalau anda tak mahu kepala anda senget sebelah sebab otak kiri berat sangat, GET A HOBBY SEKARANG. Ya2, I memang exeggerate a bit kat situ, tapi SERIOUSLY! Find A Hobby! Menjahit ke, memasak ke, JUST GET ONE. We are human, not robots.

On the 1st of November 2009, our representatives had officially stepped down to make way for our new representatives. I dont really know why, but the moment Rahman D and Fikri delivered their farewell speeches dlm bilik yang sempit serupa setor itu, i felt strangely sad...okay, okay, i admit i can be emotional tak bertempat sometimes...but honestly, dont you think our previous representatives were very good leaders? I admire their leadership qualities..their charisma...and when they are up there talking, fuh, rasa terpegun weyh. Bisa jatuh cinta. hahaha. So, this is a tribute to our past leaders,

Ada apa dengan Ammar

Today is October 11th. Sedar tak sedar dah hampir 3 minggu aku kat Alex. Hari ini kuliah start. Lengang je lecture hall sebab budak2 ramai yang buat cuti sendiri. Ada yang plan nak balik on the 20th of October! Ini memang tak boleh blah laa.. tapi setiap tindakan yang kita buat we have to be prepared to take the risk of that action. Macam aku yang balik awal ni... tak puas la enjoy kat Malaysia. Mula-mula sampai memang rasa hampeh. lagi-lagi bila menganangkan rakan-rakan yang masih seronok shopping, pergi rumah terbuka kat Malaysia. Yang balik lewat pulak, risau ketinggalan lecture. Tapi seronok gila lah spend time kat Malaysia.

Sepanjang aku di Alex nih banyak benda pasal kehidupan aku belajar. Dan aku pun dapat rasakan bahasa arab ammiyah aku dah noticably improving. teheeee... (perasan... eh, tak percaya cuba la test.)

DAN... Kat sini diantara orang yang paling banyak tolong aku ialah AMMAR AFI ..huhu..

Ya, memang post ni didedikasikan kat Ammar. Aku rasa aku lebih mengenali Ammar la sejak sampai sini. Haha.. kenal kan Ammar? siapa tak kenal dia? mamat ni selalu bagi announcement kat lecture hall kot. lagi2 lecture A. (satu tepukan untuk lecture A, lecture kemenangan. kahkahkaha) Hari ni tadi dia pakai beanie hat dengan specks frame bulat. Haha.. baru tau... Ammar pandai styling! Haha..

Seperti yang Tuan-tuan dan Puan-puan sedia maklum, semalam adalah harinya Sang Rumah (okay, obviously, kitaorg need some suggestions nak namakan Sang Rumah ni) sah menjadi rumah kami. Disini nak cerita sikit, mcm mana kami boleh bertemu jodoh dengan Sang Rumah. Pertemuan kami banyak dibantu oleh seorang simsar yang baik hati bernama

Serious baik gila dia ni... tsk..tsk.. (terharu) :') dia simsar yang tolong kami selama beberapa hari ini. In fact, dia pun sedang dalam proses mencari rumah untuk Cea. SO EVERYONE YANG TAK DAPAT RUMAH LAGI CONTACT LA MAHMOUD NI. Sumpah baik. Tengok muka pun nampak la nur iman tu..hehe. Dalam banyak2 simsar yang berurusan dengan saya (selama saya menjadi simsar melayu. haha) memang dia number one. He eez very goodz. Eygypt number one.(sila baca dengan nada orang egypt.).

Okay, mula-mula korang kena letak bajet korang nak bayar berapa untuk rumah. Sebabnye adik-adik sekalian, duduk rumah tak sama dengan duduk asrama! Bukan setakat nak bayar sewa rumah, internet lagi nak kena bayar, bil air, bil letrik, BAYARAN BAWWAB (atau dalam bahasa glemernya, pak guard), beli gas, beli barang makan, dan untuk kaki2 shopping, BUDGET ITU PENTING kerana biasanya nafsu nak membeli itu lebih besar dari jumlah duit dalam purse. tsk.tsk..

2. BAHASA

Setelah ada budget dalam minda, contoh, korang nak spend 1300 untuk sewa. langkah pertama adalah TRANSLATE NOMBOR TU DALAM BAHASA ARAB. hehe.. ini langkah penting ya.. so that kalo korang tak faham mende2 arab tu cakap, atleast korang boleh cakap ALF WA TULTU MIYAH berulang2 kali seperti orang kurang siuman. Tak kisah orang fikir apa, janji dapat rumah. Kadang-kadang perasaan tak tau malu itu penting untuk survival ya! :)

5.Net: diguna untuk bertanyakan menganai internet

9: Sya'ah: rumah

10. Sakhar: Heater (biasanya heater air)

Kalau boleh, cari rumah di kawasan2 yang biasa didiami orang sekuliah anda. Biasanya kawasan2 ini lebih murah dan easily accesible, meaning, senang nak pergi kuliah. Kawasan2 seperti Shatby, Gam'ah, Camp Ceasar adalah kawasan2 yang berada di ranking teratas sekarang. Kalau hendak kawasan yang lawa, kena tengok budget dulu ya! Kawasan seperti belakang HSBC Bank, purata harga sewa adalah 3000 pounds. Mahatah-Raml (pantai) 4000 pounds. Kafr Abdou boleh mencecah 2000 dollars.

4. CONNECTION

Biasanya kita memerlukan bantuan simsar (broker) untuk mencari rumah. (SIMSAR MAHMOUD I LOVE YOU. tehee) Sila dapatkan nombor-nombor telefon simsar daripada orang-orang yang hobinya adalah mencaari rumah (seperti saya. hehe). Nak highlight di sini, ada DUA jenis simsar.

Pertama

Simsar yang tidak berlesen. Ini biasanya simsar yang tak bertauliah dan tidak boleh percaya sangat. Dia akan charge lebih2, lepas tu bila korang dah settle semua, dia akan blah begitu sahaja. Bila korang ada masalah dengan rumah nanti, dia akan buat2 tak kenal korang. Ini tidak betul ya

Kedua

Simsar bertauliah dan berlesen SEPERTI SIMSAR MAHMOUD FEVERET HUM . Simsar2 ini biasanya dijumpai di office2, (ada office sendiri). mereka akan membantu anda berurusan dengan tuan rumah. sekiranya ada apa2 masalah berkenaan rumah, bolehlah melapor kepada mereka2 ini. Satu lagi ciri simsar bertauliah ni, ketika membuat akad, mereka akan menyediakan borang putih yang PRINTED. Sangat proper dan professional.

Okay, itu sahaja tips yang boleh dikongsikan setakat ini. Bottom line is, sentiasa berhati-hati ketika berurusan. Jangan mudah terpedaya dan bawak bertenang ya... jangan gopoh-gapah ketika membuat keputusan.. SEMOGA BERJAYA!

Hakikatnya... I pun kurang pasti..janjinya semalam pukul satu....and here i am. I've been waiting here for one hour now folks. >,< sabar Hum..sabarr!! ehem. Semalam I dapat an instant message daripada ketua Biro Akademik kita yang berwibawa (ceh...hahaha...) bahawa result untuk first year akan diumumkan pada pukul satu ,30th August 2009. which means hari ni. setakat ni I can only come up with a few very good reasons as to why the results are not here yet:

1. Classic reason la. result tak keluar lagi pun sebenarnya T_T . Mr Mahmood kat mana??

2. Result diumukan pada pukul satu EGYPTIAN TIME. lol!! Because..come to think of it, Anas tak ada pulak cakap pukul satu waktu malaysia. Jadinya, tak mustahil ada salah faham di situ. haih...

3. They decided that marking our papers was a waste of time. Raya dah dekat nih. Ahhhh, kasik je la budak2 ni lulus semua. Teheee...

4. Tak ada cellophene tape (pardon the spelling. salah kot. ke..tak? Bah, who cares.) available kat egypt at the moment to put up the results. Bunyinya agak mustahil bukan? But if you live in Egypt, you will learn that nothing is impossible.

5. Tak ada orang nak sign our results. They say, before tampal result, some professor kena tanda tangan dulu kertas tu. Dr Wafa mungkin. Tak pasti, tapi ini sebab yang sangat bosan lagi munasabah. hihihi..

6. Kertas result terbang ditiup angin..masuk ke laut mediterranian. Like I said, nothing is impossible.

Whatever it is, I know we are all anxious to see our results. I know I am. Very2 anxious. Oh Anatomy... tsk..tsk.. Its still not to late to pray for it though. gunakanlah peluang yang ada dibulan ramadhan ini untuk berdoa...semoga dengan berkat doa dan kesabaran kita, we will all pass with flying colors. Tak flying colors pun takpe, pass pun aku syukur dah. AMIN..

I found this really 'cool' and rather helpful article. The energy boosting nutrients.
Basically thre's 2 energy boosting foods that the author suggested:

1. Vitamin B. This vitamin is needed in our mitochondria to produce energy. Knowing this, it is essential for us to take vit B as food supplement as many of us dont get enough of it from our diets. 2. Go Green. Take green tea. It is very rich in antioxidant and contains less caffeine. Even though it contains less caffeine, it has been shown to yeild the same amount of energy and attentiveness. Lucky for me, i LOVE green tea. hehe. oh, and NEVER mix tea with milk because milk will inhibit the beneficial effects of tea.

So yeah, i think this thing is really good. if everyone practices this, i bet the no of students dozing off in the lecture (including myself, penidur tegar dlm lecture. haha) will be decreased.

WELL... most of the time... i just cook, hang with friends, and layan my facebook. That's it i guess. I'm really excited about cooking now. Lets see.. so far, i managed to make;

5. That telur thing ( i dont know what its called; but i told kak tazah how i come to know of it, and she decided that it should be called 'kuih ibu mertuaku'. ahahahahaha!!)

I think that's all. And i'm proud to announce that my mom dah bagi tender for me untuk buat kuih2 n biskut raya for this coming raya la. haha! yes! and i'm gonna cater for a ceremony next saturday night.haha. yes! just call me chef Hum.hehe

Besides cooking, i've been meeting friends..hehe.. fun3.. even on the flight to bintulu i've already met 2 friends; Nono n Emfah. Then at home, of course, we gathered around..i didnt expect to see them, but surprisingly many of them were on their mid term holidays, and some were on Swine Flu holidays. haha.. and thanks to this Swine Flu holidays, i met a friend at my mom's working place yesterday. You have no i idea how surprised i was! my heart went 'clunk!' feel like getting out of the car and shout, HOI! LAMAK SIK JUMPA! HAHAHA!!! but that would be akward. Nevermind... ada jodoh jumpa lagi. haha..

Banyak lg budak2 comel2 at the kindy, but Alesha..she just captures my heart and attention effortlessly. The first time we met...she was still a wee baby of two years old, and she's soooooooooooooooo cuteeeeeeeee! dia suka orang tangkap gambar dia. hehe..adorable. I bet she knows she's cute. Aduh..tak tahann! so cute! My mission in life is to have a kid that looks like her, or at least as cute as her( or cuter!). haha.. so my mission now is to find a husband that potentially carries the right genes to produce Alesha the 2nd or a Cuter-Than-Alesha daughter.hehe..chow~

A Malaysian Post: Kek Hati Parek

Today, i made this local sarawakian cake...we call it, Kek hati Parek (translated: 'Stingray's heart's cake. lol) its very, very traditional, and of course, delicious-that is, if my grandma makes them! I'm her granddaughter so, technically mine will be as yummy as hers. (promosi nampak!! hahahaha) Here i'm gonna share my grandma's secret reciepe for Kek Hati Parek..shh....

INGREDIENTS:
1. 6 cups of sugar
2. 600gms of minced raisins
3. 4 tbs of baking soda
4. 10 eggs
5. Flour (forgot the quantity. i'll update later!)
6. Butter (pun forgot the quantity. soriee!)
7. 4 tbs browning sugar

HOW TO DO IT?:
1. Firstly, add baking soda to the bowl of flour. mix well. Put the mixture aside.

2. Secondly, blend 4 cups of sugar. Add the blended sugar into a bowl of butter. Mix well using a mixer till it becomes whitish in colour.(or in bahasa, we refer to it as 'kembang') When it turns 'kembang', add flour.

3. Add the eggs one by one into our mixture of butter and sugar. Remember: ONE BY ONE

4. Add raisins into the mixture. Mix well. Put the mixture aside.

5. Heat up 2 cups of sugar till it becomes caremelized.

6. Quickly add the caramel into the previous mixture. mix well, and do it quickly!

7. Add browning sugar

8. The mixture is ready. Simply place it in a metal container and steam it for 8 HOURS . not less!!

A Malaysian Post: CARAMEL PUDDING

Hari ini puan2, I made caramel pudding. Yum2. Its delicious, famous all over the globe, and really easy to make. Here's what you'll need to make a caramel puding..

1. 1 can of melted milk (susu cair. kahkhakahka!!)

2. 3 eggs

3. Sugar ( at least 2 cups. but you can add as much as you like according to ur taste)

4. 2 cups of water

To make it...

FIRSTLY

mix the eggs with milk, water and a cup of sugar. be careful not to beat the eggs to hard.. we dont want it to become kembang ye..heh. Leave the mixture aside...

SECONDLY

we prepare the base.

Simply put a metal loyang on moderate fire. then....melt a cup of sugar in it..till it turns brown and liquidy.

Turn off the fire and quickly pour the previous mixture on the melted sugar. Kukus it for about 15-20 mins...

Serve cold. this serving is for 3 to 4 people

Here I bring you the top five local food that we all love and miss. but maybe there are some food here that you are not familiar with..coz they're the local sarawak food....yum2...

1. BUAH DABEI/ DABAI

This is my all time favourite! Buah dabeiii!! Its a local sarawak fruit..n this is a seasonal fruit! meaning we can only find it during certain months of the year. Lucky for me, i came back to malaysia just in time for dabei season. Another interesting fact is, i think this is the only fruit that is eaten with rice. yummy!

2. DURIAN

lemak berkrim...sedap..and not to mention rich in calories! Me likeeeeeee!!

3. SAYUR MIDIN

Another local sarawak cuisine.. usually we tumis with belacan. fuh! its amazing how something so simple can be sooo sedap!

4. LAKSA SARAWAK

Sedap gilerrr...n not just any laksa sarawak..there is one particular kedai in bintulu that makes the best laksa sarawak ever. That is my FAVOURITE laksa sarawak..

5. KUIH PAU

Of all foods, i rarely hear anyone among my circle of friends that misses pau. Slalu dengar rindu nasik lemak la, mate kucing la, ketupat la, rendang la. Since you guys dah kat malaysia..makan la pau nie..sesungguhnye ia sedap. kahkahkahka!
